Wavy hair

So I was about to title it "web hair", but then I remembered all the confused people who thought I either: can't write properly in English or just made a mistake in one of my previous entries. Haha, anyway, in Japanese magazines I always see them saying "web hair", but in fact if I googled this phrase i realized there's no such phrase in English. Long story short: I tend to use phrases from Japanese magazines that don't exist in English. I don't speak English that well, maybe that's why. :D

Back to my main topic. So wavy hair. It's everywhere in the gyaru scene, but definitely not limited to it. Yesterday we noticed that me and Kiku both have wavy hair, however we both use a completely different technique. (Well I guess you can see and imagine her hair from the shadow.)

Now introducing: How I do my wavy hair.

10.30 pm and I say "Laura, do you know how to do french braid?" Lol, can't use that trick much longer, she isn't my personal hairdresser :/ But it seems so hard to do yourself. Usual braid wont work since it wont give any volume to your upper layers.

So lets start:

Tools we used:

1. Brush your hair.
Before doing that we put anti-breakage balsamspray into my hair because it was extremely tangled. Not sure if it's any help tho.
2. Divide your hair into half and secure one side with a hair tie.
3. Spray the part you are going to braid with water unless it's already wet.
4. Braid your hair into 2 french braids like this:

Had hard time taking a nice photo.

5. Add hairspray to secure your waves. I used Curl Power Spray in hope it works better for wavy hair.

6. Go to bed to have a nice dream!

7. Unbraid your hair in the morning and brush it. If needed add more hairspray!

Also, if anything goes wrong, I still have my Babyliss large waffle iron which makes your hair wavy as well.

But my hair looked perfect already so there was no need to use heat at all!

PS. I braid my extensions and added them later.

Overall, I think it's really nice and easy way to style your hair without damaging it. Not to mention it's one of the latest trends anyway!
